PG Tips Tea is a classic English black tea with a rich, full-bodied flavor. Perfect for breakfast or a break during the day, it offers an intense aroma and balanced flavor, ideal for enjoying on its own or with a dash of milk, in keeping with British tradition.
PG tips originated in 1930, launched by the Brooke Bond family under the original name “Pre-Gest-Tea.” The name was later shortened and Mr. Brooke added “tips” to emphasize that only the top two leaves and bud of each plant were used. The name implied that it could be drunk as a digestive aid before meals.
