When Napoleon sought one million tins of beef to feed his hungry army back in 1871, the first version of Bovril was born. Today, the dense, creamy spread made from beef extract is as popular as ever.   It is most often spread on buttery toast or mixed with hot water to create a hearty, warming drink.

Beef Broth (50%) [Water, Beef Bones], Yeast Extract (27%) [Contains Barley, Wheat, Oats, Rye], Salt, Water, Colouring Agent (Ammonia Caramel), Corn Starch, Beef Powder (1%), Flavour Enhancers (Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate), Acid (Lactic Acid), Flavourings (Contains Celery).
