Bird’s Custard Powder 350g

Description

Bird’s has been helping homecooks prepare luscious, creamy custard at home for a long time. Since Bird’s custard powder was invented by Alfred Bird in 1837, homemade custard is a treat that can be made in a few simple steps.

Directions:

For 4 servings, add 2 heaped tablespoons of custard powder and 2 tablespoons of sugar to a saucepan. Measure out 1 pint of cold milk and add a few tablespoons to the pan. Stir into the powder and sugar to form a smooth paste and then stir in the rest. Put saucepan on a low heat and stir while bringing to a gentle boil. Enjoy beside a slice of pie or add a dollop to a spongecake.
